Phong Vu, O.D. – Napa Optometrist

Meet Dr. Vu

Dr. Phong Vu has been a doctor of optometry at Eye Specialists of Napa Valley since 2007 where he treats conditions, diseases, and injuries of the eye, as well as corrective vision.

As a graduate from the University of California at Berkeley, he continued his optometric education at the University of Berkeley School of Optometry. From there, he completed internships at the Omni Eye Services in New Jersey and New York, as well as at the Veterans Affairs hospital in California and Washington.

Throughout his studies, Dr. Vu was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Society and worked with the Berkeley chapter of VOSH International — a nonprofit organization with the mission to bring vision to every person on the planet — to perform eye exams in several cities throughout Thailand.

Personal Life

In his free time, Dr. Vu enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

"I have been an eye patient with Eye Specialists of Napa Valley for about 25 years. Dr. Mehtani is my ophthalmologist. I can't compare with other Eye people in town because I haven't gone to them. Eye Specialists are just that – specialists, and my eye-care needs have been completely met. This includes cataract surgery on both eyes.
