I have been an eye patient with Eye Specialists of Napa Valley for about 25 years. Dr. Mehtani is my ophthalmologist. I can't compare with other Eye people in town because I haven't gone to them. Eye Specialists are just that – specialists, and my eye-care needs have been completely met. This includes cataract surgery on both eyes. As a lay-science kind of guy, I tend to ask questions other patients might not be interested in. Dr. Mehtani has always answered at an appropriate level for my understanding; answered with patience and interest. Knowing that vision is acutely important to me as a photographer, he has gone the extra steps to relate his examinations and procedures with that in mind. He mixes professionalism with a very pleasant charactor. I also see Dr. Vu and Dr. Jamison, who also exhibit the same high standards of professionalism and "eye-side manner." More

Dr. Vu is the best. I’ve been coming here since I was little and I appreciate all the staff. I know they have gone through a lot of changes over the years and I appreciate if I am being honest all the side chatter from the staff. It makes me feel at home. More

The whole office, and Dr. Methani in particular, have been fantastic. I put my trust in them to do both of my cataract surgeries, and they came through in spades! And after surgery, I thought that I might have an issue (it was mostly allergies and oil in my tear ducts), but they had me come the very same day. Twice. I highly recommend Dr. Methani! And now, I can see without glasses! More

Dr. Mehtani is the wonderful. He answers questions, explains treatment options and has great follow up. He performed surgery on my eyes and I had an outstanding result. I have had been treated by multiple eye doctors over the years, and he is the best I have had. More

Years ago Dr Mehtani recommended that I get checked for diabetes and good thing because I did have diabetes and had to make some changes. So I'm grateful. Another time it was rheumatoid arthritis and he was right yet again. I feel Dr. Mehtani has saved me a few times and he always explains things to me so I understand completely and know what to do for my eye care. More

The best eye doctors in town. I have seen 3 of the medical doctors in this office and all of them are fantastic. They are so thorough and kind. Dr. Vu is by far the best Optometrist in town. I’ve seen him for years and now my son sees doctor Vu. He is the one to see if you need contacts or glasses. More

Over the weekend I developed a swollen and painful eye condition. I called the office first thing Monday morning and was able to get in within 45 minutes! I was so amazed and very grateful. Dr. Vu saw me immediately, explained what I had, prescribed medication and home care. Within 24 hours the swelling and pain were greatly diminished and I was feeling much better about eye’s health.
